‘TIKTOCLOCK’ SOLIDIFIES STANDING IN PRE-AFTERNOON SLOT, COMPLEMENTED BY ‘IT’S SHOWTIME’

GMA Network’s pre-afternoon program ‘Tiktoclock’ solidifies its position in the ratings competition, thanks in part to its lead-in show, ‘It’s Showtime.’

Based on the latest Nielsen NUTAM People survey ratings, ‘Tiktoclock’ has shown significant growth in ratings since it began airing immediately after ‘It’s Showtime’ on GMA Network, occasionally even surpassing the ratings of noontime giant, ‘EAT…Bulaga.’

On Monday, April 15, ‘Tiktoclock’ achieved a rating of 3.6 percent, comfortably outperforming its rival ‘Face 2 Face,’ which scored 2.2 percent.

The following day, Tuesday, April 16, the Kim Atienza-hosted variety showed further improvement, climbing two spots to reach 15th place from its previous 17th place ranking, with a rating of 3.7 percent.

Midweek, on Wednesday, April 17, ‘Tiktoclock’ once again moved up a spot to 14th place, surpassing the long-standing noontime show ‘EAT…Bulaga,’ which fell to 15th place. ‘Tiktoclock’ scored 4.0 percent against ‘EAT…Bulaga’s’ 3.9 percent.

However, on Thursday, April 18, the Kapuso mid-morning show experienced a setback, dropping two spots to 16th place with a rating of 3.2 percent.

Yet, it quickly recovered on Friday, April 19, with a 1 percent increase, reaching 4.2 percent and maintaining its 16th place ranking.

This upward trend in ratings demonstrates how ‘It’s Showtime’ has significantly bolstered the ratings of ‘Tiktoclock,’ reclaiming its strength after a period of decline during the stint of ‘Tahanang Pinakamasaya’ in the Kapuso noontime slot.
